What do Chefs Really Make?

Interesting article at the Washington Post, How Much do Chefs really Make?

"The average salary for an executive chef here is $71,666, according to a recent salary survey by The national average is $75,596, according to estimates by the online industry magazine."

The article highlights some areas where chefs make well above the average - places like Atlantic City & Las Vegas.

At $70K+ a year cooking for a living isn't all that bad of a gig.
